Syrian Infighting May Be Pretext for Expanded Intervention

By News Desk

Links Syrian Infighting May Be Pretext for Expanded Intervention A strategy of tension created by divisions among foreign-funded fighters may give West an opportunity to increasingly "back good terrorists" versus "bad terrorists."  January 7, 2014 (LD) – Geopolitical analyst Eric Draitser  on Press TV explained what is behind recent infighting between foreign-funded fighters battling along and within Syria’s borders. While the regime and its Western backers claim this is an unwarranted threat made by a rogue military, the warning comes after the regime of Thaksin Shinawatra  and his nepotist-appointed proxy, sister Yingluck Shianwatra , deployed black-clad gunmen twice ( here  and  here ), resulting in multiple deaths, as well as unleashing its " red shirt" enforcers to confront political opponents with violence and intimidation  almost daily

It’s Not a Bug

By News Desk

Tweet A couple of hours ago, Eli pointed out that the Richard Trolls of the world should be pumping up the Spirit of Mawson expedition as a return to the old time way of privately funding exploration.  After all every bunny knows that goverment funding is the distorting devil, put into words by Richard Lindzen it mostly comes down to the money—to the incentive structure of academic research funded by government grants.
