Lost Bet On Friday, I lost a bet made in March of 2010 regarding unemployment . I bet that the unemployment rate would not dip below 8% before June 2015. I crunched numbers many ways and simply decided there is no way the economy could possibly grow enough jobs.

Here’s some wonderful news: “We are canceling the remaining amount you owe Chase!†says a letter that JPMorgan Chase sent recently to thousands of home loan borrowers. “You are approved for a full principal forgiveness of your Home Equity Account,†says another, from Bank of America
