US-funded agitators have vowed to march this week to the German embassy in Bangkok, Thailand in order to invite Western interests to directly and openly interfere in Thailand's internal political affairs.

  • US-funded protesters now seek to directly involve Western interests in Thailand's internal affairs
  • Germany has for years through the Heinrich Böll Foundation funded anti-government organizations inside Thailand alongside the US government
  • Germany has recently been very active in supporting Washington's propaganda war against Russia and China - and now their allies including Thailand

October 24, 2020 (Tony Cartalucci - LD) - Anti-government protests organized by Thailand's corrupt billionaire-led opposition and funded by the US government have announced plans to march to the German embassy in Bangkok in a bid to invite Western interests to directly and openly interfere in Thailand's internal political affairs.

The move is made specifically to target Thailand's head of state King Maha Vajiralongkorn - who is alleged to vacation in Germany. Protesters - unable to cite any abuses or legitimate grievances the Thai King's public service - have relied instead on unfounded rumors and outright fabricated claims regarding his private life.

Thailand's monarchy - a 700 year old institution - has kept Thais united throughout the centuries and is the primary reason Thailand remains the only nation in Southeast Asia to avoid Western colonization.

Because of this, the Thai monarchy has been a constant target of Western subversion throughout the last 2 centuries - with an Anglo-American backed coup launched in 1932 almost ousting the institution permanently.

Today - Thailand's monarchy, independent military, its courts, and other institutions have pivoted the nation decidedly toward Beijing and has prompted US-backed protests aimed at destroying these institutions, rolling back Thai-Chinese relations, and bringing the country back into a Western sphere of influence.

Germany has in recent months been very active in supporting Washington's propaganda war against both Russia regarding the Navalny case and China regarding Xinjiang - and now clearly allies of both nations including Thailand. Germany has - via the Heinrich Böll Foundation of Germany's Green Party - funded opposition groups inside Thailand alongside the US government, London, and the EU.

China is currently Thailand's largest trade partner, investor, source of tourism, and even arms supplier. China is also a key partner for several major Thai infrastructure projects including its rollout of 5G technology as well as a high-speed railway that will link Thailand to China via Laos.

The US government funds virtually every aspect of the ongoing Thai protests - evidence of which can be found on the US National Endowment for Democracy's (NED) own official website including the name of core opposition organizations as well as the amount of US government money given to each.

Just as the US has done in Hong Kong - the US and its accomplices are funding agitators to disrupt, undermine, and if possible overthrow Thailand's political system - denying China a valuable economic partner and regional ally and hindering the collective rise of Asia.
