Instead, it has dragged on for nearly a year and a half, consisting of hit-and-run battles, terrorist bombings, and cross-border infiltration – indicating that but a slim minority has "risen up" and of that minority, the vast majority of them are sectarian extremists – admittedly many are not even Syrian.
